Scripts

During the RTL verification we only used one script to compile the simulation files. In this stage we use another script to perform the actual simulation. This is done because, as mentioned previously, the simulation tools, especially the hierarchy browser, are very slow during post place-and-route simulation. Using a simulation script will speed-up the process as you do not have to take the time to traverse the hierarchy tree to find your signals. This will however require some initial research into the names of the signals that you want to see on the waveform viewer.
